Mom’s Ceasar Salad with Buttery Croutons

This is THE most requested special occasion food in our family. Not just family, but friends, church, and pretty much anywhere my mom needs to bring a dish, this Ceasar is what people request. It’s rich, creamy, and super delicious.

Dressing:

3 Tablespoons sour cream
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire
1 Teaspoon dijon mustard
3 cloves crushed garlic
1/2 cup olive oil

Mix dressing. Pour over 3 heads of Romaine or mix of red leaf and green leaf lettuce. Top with croutons and Parmesan cheese.

Croutons:
Cube 1/2 loaf of French bread
Toast on one side under the broiler. Flip them. Pour melted butter over the croutons, top with Parmesan cheese and return to the broiler until they are brown. Be sure to watch to prevent burning.
