Wild Orange & Chocolate Chip Cookies

wild orange1 cup butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

2 cups flour

5 drops Wild Orange Essential Oil

3/4 cup dark chocolate chips

Cream the butter, sugar, and wild orange essential oil in a mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in the flour, salt and chocolate chips.

Put the dough on a large piece of plastic wrap. Shape into a log and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Remove the dough from the fridge. Slice into 1/4 inch rounds.

Bake for 11-13 minutes. The official instructions say to cool completely, but I say eat them warm. Cookies right out of the oven are the best.
